Position Overview: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Property Check Specialist to conduct insurance checks on residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing thorough inspections to ensure properties meet insurance requirements, documenting their condition, and identifying any potential issues that may affect coverage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections of vacant properties, both residential and commercial, to assess their condition and compliance with insurance policy requirements.
  • Document and report on the physical condition of properties, noting any signs of damage, maintenance issues, or security concerns.
  • Take detailed photographs and compile comprehensive reports on property conditions for insurance purposes.
  • Ensure that all inspections are conducted in accordance with company standards and insurance guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with property owners, insurance agents, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns.
  • Identify and report any potential risks or hazards that could affect the insurance coverage of the property.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams or contractors to address any issues found during inspections.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inspections, reports, and communications related to each property.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, insurance regulations, and best practices for property inspections.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in property management, real estate, or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in property inspection, property management, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency with digital tools and software for reporting and documentation.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for traveling to inspection sites.
  • Understanding of insurance policies and requirements related to property management is advantageous.


Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to walk, stand, and inspect properties for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Capability to climb stairs and access different areas of properties as needed.
