the property is armed, why do i need assurance checks?
Vacancy Clause: Every property insurance policy has one. In today's day and age, property owners are starting to pay very close attention to that vacancy clause. Should something happen while you're away and your home was not being checked on, the likelihood of your insurance company honoring your claim is very slim. As many property owners move away from asking a friend or family member for a favor concerning their most valuable asset and look to a professional service with Liability Insurance.

Crime: A vacant home is a vulnerable home, vacant homes are extremely easy to pick off. Thieves have a multitude of different ways they identify the tell tale signs that you're away. That's where we come in. We create presence. A professional Home Watch service is your peace of mind that everything is secure while you're away. The assurance with your policy holder that due diligence was done and there is documented proof in the event there is a claim.

Privacy: Loose lips sink ships. We maintain, the less people that know you're going away, the better. When you contract a professional service like your HomeWatch™, you're assured complete privacy.

how quickly can i register as a member?
We typically require 72 hours to conduct the on-site assessment and sign your Master Contract. This said, we have signed contracts with 4 hours notice. A variety of appointments are available. Once your Master Contract and your on-site assessment is complete, all future contracts are initiated seamlessly online by logging into the members area.
What if vacancy or itinerary plans change?
Itineraries change all the time, it's the nature of our business. In the event your travel plans change ie: early arrival etc, your un-used checks are always credited back to your account for future use. We do however require 72hrs notice to accommodate scheduling adjustments. There is a 30% Administrative processing fee. Check credits back never expire, they are also transferable, though non-refundable
how are keys, codes and personal information kept secure?
Privacy is the merit and foundation of our brand. Clients are designated a personalized Client ID number upon creation of their Master Contract. Keys and any information pertaining to your property are coded with this number. Through our policies and procedures, trace possibility for security breach is completely eliminated. Further information regarding our detailed privacy policy is provided at the on-site assessment.
why WOULDN'T i just ask my NEIGHBOuR, friend or family member?
Times have changed, our clientele are looking for a professional, reliable and private service. Unless the at-fault individual admits to fault ie: neighbour, friend or family, the responsibility and liability falls to the policy holder. If the at-fault individual does not admit to fault, a civil suit would need to be initiated for damages. We are highly insured, this matters to our clientele base. Engaging a registered and insured professional service removes liability and competency risk.
contracts defined & payment
Short Term Contracts: Payment in full is due upon receipt of issue and prior to your departure.

Long Term Contracts: Long term clientele (greater than one month duration) are invoiced on a monthly basis. Payment for services is due upon receipt of issue and prior to the next months services commencing.

We accept all major Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express. We also accept cheque, cash and e-transfer.
how would you handle an emergency situation?
If an emergency situation were to arise, the first call is always to the client to seek preferred course of action. We've had several incidents, all of which were handled swiftly and professionally. Not once has a client ever returned prematurely due to an emergency at home. we are highly connected. We have a close-knit team of locally trusted, insured contractors that can handle any emergency situation should it arise at your property. That's the your HomeWatch™ advantage. The foundation of trust our brand as been built on since our inception in 2015.
